Format
Tournament Format

Wednesday & Thursday
​
Best ball of the two person team – gross and net.
Same ball can be used for
both scores.
Each player plays her own ball. The team takes the lowest gross and net score.
​

Flights
The field will consist of
four flights determined by a team’s combined handicap.
​
Plumeria – Championship Flight
Hibiscus – First Flight
Bird of Paradise – Second Flight
Pikake – Third Flight
​
Maximum ten strokes difference between
Partner’s handicaps.
Higher handicap will be adjusted.
Maximum individual
handicap is 36
Tees
All play shall be from
the red tees.
Exchange scorecards
with the opposing team.
Compare totals
often to avoid errors.
Scorecards must be
signed and attested.
Rules
USGA rules shall govern all play
except the following...
Fourteen-club rule
will be in effect!

The same ball rule is waived.
All flowerbeds (except in hazards) and
newly planted trees are mandatory
free relief no closer to the hole.
Ball must be found
Ties
A scorecard playoff beginning
on the #1 handicap hole will
break all ties for tournament prizes
Rule Questions
The Ridglea Country Club
Golf Professionals will decide
all rule questions.
If there is a question as to procedure,
play two balls and request a ruling at the turn or after play before
signing your scorecard
Other
Putts that count toward the
team score must be holed.
Out of respect for others playing,
PLEASE refrain from use of
cell phones
Keep up with the pace of play!
Measuring Devices
The use of Distance Measuring devices is allowed. Slope and wind adjustment is not allowed
